yeah ive talked at length with you (litlelvis) at bde and especially with sz. im coming to the conclusion the five speed will never handle that much power reliably or w/o throwing me into the left lane driver, wall etc a couple times before it goes. ive looked into converting over to the auto nissan tranny but they dont make the harness anymore and like you said Greg is not all that crazy about it. last i talked to him he said he was hoping to run a th400. i like the 4l80e with the electronic od simply because of highway driving.ive been watching bde for it but i guess it keeps getting pushed back. i should also be able to set up a manual valve body for my own shifting correct? i want to keep the z lookng as stock as possible while making it as light as possible and keep the streetability. is there a set up for the re4r03a trans or 700r into our z's? thanks for the input.
